Before Covid struck we were offering classes and workshops in community centers and libraries all over the Island; in Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Nanoose, Nanaimo, Duncan, Port Alberni, Campbell River, Courtenay and Coal Harbour.
Native communities invited us to give an introduction into Sahaja Yoga Meditation. We visited the Snaw-Naw-As Health Centre in Nanoose and travelled all the way north to Coal Harbour. There, with the help of young practitioners from the mainland, we meditated with children and teachers of the K’ak’ot’lats’i School of the Quatsino First Nation. We feel honored that we were guests of these remarkable communities.
ERRINGTON FARMERS MARKET
Summer saw us in the jolly and comfortable surroundings of the Errington Farmers Market; we invited passer-byes to a meditative experience under our canopy and distributed information on upcoming classes.
Summer has always been a great time to travel and offer “music and meditation” with live performances in different places across the Island - Campbell River, Royston, Quadra Island and Denman Island. Our gifted musicians also played and meditated in our Oceanside neighborhood - at the McMillan Arts Centre and the Qualicum Beach Rotary House. We even took the ferry off-island to join our Sahaja musicians on the mainland.
